Here we answer the most common questions about the service.
Not a problem, as long as it is within the same county. It is very common for our customers to get their items picked up at one address and then driven to another one.
That's one of many great things about Vindens service. If you only need a specific thing we can send it home! What we do not do is open our customers' boxes to retrieve a specific item. Do you need something specific from a box? Contact Vindens customer service and they will help you find a solution.
It is possible to authorize us to pick up / deliver items outside your door. Note - Vinden can take no responsibility for any theft or damage that may arise after completed delivery.
The earlier you can place your order, the easier it will be for Vinden to find a time that suits you perfectly. A couple of days ahead of time is usually plenty. Vinden cannot guarantee a transport within 24 hours, but if we can solve it we do so for a SEK 400 fee.
The warehouse is about 20 minutes out of town. Far enough to be able to offer low prices while not having to drive for long distances.
Your items are stored safely in Vindens heated warehouse, which of course is equipped with alarms and fire protection. The warehouse is guarded around the clock.
Instead of having to own or rent a large car and spend lots of time carrying and driving to a self storage, Vinden will come and pick up what you want to store. Also, you only pay for the space you actually need.

That is up to you. We don't have any upper or lower limits for what you can store. You simply pay for the volume of your stored things.
You can store pretty much whatever you want. We never accept weapons, drugs, explosives or other illegal goods.
For safety reasons Vinden does not allow any one, other than our own staff, to enter the warehouse. The whole idea of our service is that you do not have to drive. Do you need to get into the warehouse for some reason? Contact Vindens customer service and they will help you find a solution.

You can either add a card for monthly payments via the email we send you after your first booking, or we can send an invoice if desired.
Your monthly cost is based on the volume you store. Vinden can estimate your monthly cost based on standard dimensions, but it is not until we have measured everything at our warehouse that the actual cost is calculated.
The minimum chargeable storage period is 1 month. After the first month, you pay in advance per month, but we credit back the part of the month you do not use on your next invoice.
